Discover Weybridge, a leafy suburb with excellent connections
Weybridge town centre just a few minutes distant has a range of both high street chains and individual boutiques, including a Waitrose supermarket, plus a good mix of bars and restaurants.
Weybridge lies to the northwest of Surrey on the south bank of the River Thames, at the mouth of the River Wey. It is an attractive commuter town offering a full range of properties from one bedroom flats, through Victorian villas to large mansion houses in private gated estates.
The Oatlands Village area of Weybridge has a park, parade of shops, two very good pubs and three 'outstanding' schools. The roads are characterised by many avenues and garden-fronted properties surrounded by parkland, no intersection by any major roads, with detached and terraced properties, alongside low rise apartments being a relatively common feature.
Transport links are excellent in this area. Weybridge mainline station has a regular service to London Waterloo in 28 minutes with Walton-on-Thames being marginally closer, and taking from 25 minutes.
The M25 (Junc. 11) is approximately 4.0 miles away giving access to the motorway network. Central London is 25 miles and accessed via the A3 (3.5 miles) and Heathrow airport (12.5 miles) and Gatwick airport (27 miles) are in easy reach.
The local area is served by an excellent selection of highly regarded state and private schools for all age ranges with Oatlands Primary School on St Marys Road and Cleves School on Oatlands Avenue a short distance away both achieving 'Outstanding' in their most recent OFSTED reports.
The Weybridge Club spa resort and Broadwater lie to the north of the Oatlands Park Hotel a short distance away. There is also a huge choice of leisure facilities including open countryside and the River Thames, numerous golf courses including Foxhills, St. Georges and Burhill Park, horse riding, clay shooting, health clubs, rugby/football clubs, cricket clubs and racing at both Kempton and Sandown Park within easy access.
